HOW IT WORKS?

After installation is complete the EGT probe or probes reads, records and monitors your exhaust temp. The average EGT of most motors running under full throttle conditions are no more than 1270 degrees. You set the HIGH limit at say 1300 degrees (slightly higher than your highest base line recorded) so that if for any reason the nitrous/turbo/supercharger ect over heats the cylinder the EGT picks up that temp and turns off anything or turns on anything that will help cool things down. For example: you could have it turn OFF your nitrous kit or activate a waste gate to dump boost or send signal to your MSD box and remove timing or turn on a fuel enrichment system. The beauty of the controller is you can decide when and what it controls. Then the LOW setting is set just above the average (base line for your engine) temp so that as soon as the engine cools down a bit (within tenths of a second) everything is turned back on so you do not lose the race! The technology/software is so advanced it is "patent pending" and there is no other devise on the market that offers the safety, high and low set points and speed at which this unit performs.
